The rise of accidents these days due to bad weather or just bad driving ethics are a concern. Please consider turning on "Do Not Disturb While Driving" mode which is now available on iOS.
Go to Settings>Do Not Disturb>and tap on the Do Not Disturb While Driving option at the bottom which will give you some information.
Now you can either have it on Manually, Automatically (Detects when you are driving) or When connected to car Bluetooth.
If you keep it to Manually then go to Settings>Control Centre to enable this option to show up in your Control Centre, then just tap on it to enable.
You can also setup an Auto-Reply and to whom you would like to send it.
